Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do Instructor
Sifu Nathan Young is a certified Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do Instructor and has been teaching martial arts, chi cultivation and mind mastery for over 10 years with the UFC Gym in Hawaii.
Through the fundamental practice of chi gong he has also explored and taught students about mind sight (seeing without eyes) remote viewing (seeing distance or hidden targets) and telekinesis. Sifu Nate has successfully trained many to perform these natural “super powers” we all have within us. We just need to know how to activate them.
I use the Egely wheel to measure before and after a practice sessions of training in various physical and mental exercises. It helps me experiment with the effectiveness of each session. There is almost always an increase in energy after a training session and the Egely wheel offers me a measurement of how much of an increase was the result.
I often use the Vitality Meter to train telekinesis under a glass container because it’s quick and easy to setup and gives consistent feedback every time.
I’ve also noticed it helps me get into the flow state which is in between letting go by relaxing and focused attention by setting intention. This is great for meditation, creative new idea seeking and Qigong development.

Visualize the energy from your hand is flowing and directed to pushing the top edge of the wheel to make it move.
Do some Qigong Movements or forms for example a Wing Chun form of breathing out while moving your hand away from your chest in the crane position of finger all held together and circling your wrist on in inhale and bringing your hand back on another exhale. Then repeat three or more times and then again on the other hand.
If you practice Telekinesis you can move it under glass by relaxing and connecting with the wheel by getting to know it through detailed observation about the shape, size, weight and relaxed but focused energy flow towards the wheel. With every breath see yourself moving it and if your mind is totally focused with no doubt in your head it will move. I would use the Vitality Indicator first in a smaller glass then try it in a larger glass alongside some tin foil on a needle. Finally trying with the Vitality Meter in the glass.

After practice or meditation then try measuring again to see how to practice might have changed your energy.
Do not fight with the wheel flow with it. The less tension in your body the more available energy there is to move the wheel. Relax everything and put all your attention and intention to move the wheel so you can maximize your results.” This may be confusing at first but it is a relaxed tension. True words are often contradictory.
Connect with the wheel and become one. Everything is connected and therefore you are connected to everything. With each breath make the connection to move with the wheel as one with your breath. Your breath is in a way pumping the flow of energy and reflecting movement in your mind to the wheel. Test the four phase. Inhale, full hold, exhale and empty hold. See which phase it moves more for you.
Drop all other thoughts and become formless. There is no mind no thing and no time. Do not have any concepts or thinking or measurements. Let everything drop away as you slowly chip away at all unnecessary thoughts. If you first empty you will find you are connected with everything and then can do, become or go anywhere. This will not only move the wheel but have applications to literally anything at all. Limitless possibilities.

The difference between these two devices comes from their design. While both devices will give the user an indication of vitality levels, they do so in very different ways.
The Vitality Meter provides the user a definite value for the numbers of rotations, using the electronics that are attached to the wheel. It’s an easy and concrete way to ensure that your telekinetic abilities are improving, or how much your energy work and meditation is boosting your vitality. This is your VQ, or vitality quotient, which quantifies your life energy level.
The Vitality Indicator is used more for fun and practice. The Vitality Indicator is smaller and more portable, making it great for a quick check of your energy level or a bit of training during a spare moment in your day. It is possible to count the number of rotations on the Vitality Indicator, but it is not recommended. Doing this takes a different state of mind from the one recommended while using this device, and it will decrease the vitality level.
